Hemant Engineering Works

Our workshop, Hemant Engineering Works, is located at 784 Chikhlee Road, No 1B Phase 1 in the Kathwada Gidc area. Specifically, we are in Kudalwadi. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s a lot of industrial units and small factories. It’s not the quietest place to work, with all the machines running and trucks moving in and out, but it’s where we belong. We spend our days doing a lot of metalwork and repairs. There is always something that needs fixing or a part that needs to be made. Our hands are usually greasy, and the floor is covered in metal shavings by the end of the day. We don't have a glossy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a functional engineering shop where we get the work done. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so we know our way around the lathe and the welding kit. People from around the GIDC bring us their broken parts or designs, and we see what we can do. It’s honest work. Sometimes it’s hot and loud, but that’s just the nature of engineering in a place like Kudalwadi. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It’s about making things that last and solving problems for the other businesses nearby. We’ve been at this spot on Chikhlee Road for a while now.
