Tukai Engineering

Our workshop is located at Post Kirkatwadi on Sinhagad Road. If you are coming this way, just look for the Maruti Mandir; we are right near it, tucked behind the Bhairavnath Mandir. Being in Taluka Haveli gives us a bit more space than we would have in the city center. Tukai Engineering is a place where there is always the sound of metal and machines. It’s a bit greasy and loud, but that’s the nature of engineering work. We are surrounded by temples, so we hear the bells and the prayers every morning while we start our shift. It’s a nice contrast to the mechanical work we do. The road to Sinhagad is always busy with travelers, but our spot behind the temple is a little more secluded. We have a small crew of workers who know their way around the tools. The floor is usually covered in scrap and oil, and we don't have a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in overalls working on a project. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just take the jobs as they come and do the repairs. It is a simple, hardworking life out here in Kirkatwadi. We like the fresh air and the fact that we have enough room to breathe and do our work properly without being squeezed in.
