Hastkala Heritage

Hastkala Heritage is right there in the New Cosmos Bank Building in Narayan Peth. If you know the area, we are directly opposite Kejals Furnishing and just across from the Digi Petrol Pump. Narayan Peth is one of those old-school parts of the city where the streets are always full of people and scooters. Our space is functional and full of character because of the old building we are in. We spend a lot of our time dealing with traditional goods and handmade items, which means there is always a lot of checking for quality and sorting through different fabrics or materials. It gets quite busy around the petrol pump area, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our windows. The staff here have been around for a while and we mostly just get on with the work without much talk. We keep the shop open through the heat of the day, even when the Peth gets a bit quiet during the afternoon break. It’s a good spot because people know the bank building well, so they find us easily enough. We don't really bother with flashy signs or fancy marketing. We just put our items out where people can see them and try to keep the place tidy, though with so much stock coming in, it’s often a bit of a struggle. It is just a regular local business doing its thing in a very traditional neighborhood.
