Harshada Engineers

Down on Urawade Road near the Ghotawade Phata in Pirangut, that’s where you’ll find Harshada Engineers. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the middle of the city, but we like the extra space we have out here. The shop is basically a large shed where we keep all our tools and materials organized. It’s often breezy because we keep the large front doors open to let the air circulate while we’re working. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy like that. We just use big fans when the weather gets too hot in the summer. Most of the guys here have been with us for years and know the routine. We’re used to the way things run and don't need much supervision to get through the day. There’s a small area where we keep the finished parts before they get picked up by the trucks. It isn't a high-tech facility with robots or anything new. It's just us using our hands and the machines we've owned for over a decade. Sometimes the power goes out in this area for a bit, so we just take a break and wait for it to come back on. We don’t have a secretary, so the phone usually just sits on a bench until one of us notices it. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm.
