Gurudev Engineering

Gurudev Engineering is actually based out of an apartment. We are in Flat 102 on the first floor of Gajanan Apartments, which is at Plot 10 in Indira Nagar, Chinchwad. It is a bit unusual to have an engineering setup in a residential building, but it keeps our costs down and it is a quiet place to work. We do a lot of our design work on the computers we have set up in the main room. We also have some smaller tools for assembly work, but we try not to make too much noise for the sake of the neighbors. Chinchwad is a good area to be in because most of our suppliers are just a short drive away. Sometimes clients get a bit confused finding the right building because all the apartments look similar. We usually have to go down and meet them at the gate. My brother and I run the place ourselves. We make our own coffee and spend long hours looking at blueprints. The balcony has a few plants that I try to keep alive, though I often forget to water them. We don't have a big corporate office or a lobby. It is just a flat where we get our work done. We like the independence of it. We have been here for several years now and the routine suits us just fine. Most of our days are spent quietly calculating and drawing.
