Guru Krupa Travels

You can find us in Shivaji Nagar, near the Omkar Ganesh Mandir. We are at S No 85, right by the PMT bus stop. It is a very busy spot. There is always the sound of bus engines and people rushing to catch their ride. We see the crowd at the temple every morning too. Our office is small and tucked away, but we try to keep it tidy. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait for their bus or ask about tickets. It’s a lively neighborhood to be in. We’ve been here at Guru Krupa Travels for a while, seeing the changes in the streets over the years. The chai stall next door is where we spend our breaks. Sometimes it gets so crowded outside that it’s hard to see our door, but we are used to it. We deal with all sorts of people, from students to families going on holiday. We just write everything down in our registers and make sure everyone knows their departure time. It’s a lot of manual work, checking schedules and talking to drivers on their mobile phones. We don't have any fancy decorations, just a calendar and some posters of places people like to visit. It feels like home to us, being right in the middle of all that movement. We stay until the last bus of the night goes out.
