Shop No. 10 at Sukhwani Nook is where we spend most of our time. It’s in the Kamgar Nagar area of Pimpri. The building is easy to find if you know where you’re going. We deal in all kinds of bags here, and we’ve been doing it for quite a while. The shop isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with backpacks, duffles, and handbags. It takes a tall ladder to reach the ones at the top. Pimpri is a busy industrial and residential mix, so we get all sorts of customers coming through. Some are workers looking for a tough bag for their tools, and others are parents getting stuff for the new school year. The floor is just simple tile, and we try to keep it swept, but with the dust from the street, it’s a constant battle. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure people find a bag that works for them. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when the power grid is struggling, but we just keep going. It’s a small family-run type of place. We know most of the other shop owners in Sukhwani Nook, and we often share a cup of chai in the slow afternoon hours. It’s a quiet life in some ways, even with all the noise outside the shop door in Kamgar Nagar.
