You can find Grind Coffee Llp over at the Lake District area in Yewalewadi. We are in Flat 104. It is quite close to Bapdev Ghat, so the air is a bit fresher up here than in the middle of Pune city. We spend our mornings surrounded by the smell of coffee beans. It is a small setup, just an LLP where we do our own thing. We don’t have a massive warehouse, so we use the space we have as best as we can. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, which makes moving the heavy sacks a real pain. We focus on getting the grind right. Different people like different textures, so we spend a lot of time testing. It is not just about the coffee, it is about the routine of it all. We have a small table where we sit and pack everything by hand. It’s quiet work usually. We listen to the radio or just talk about what we’re going to have for lunch. It is a simple life running a coffee business from a flat. We are just happy to be doing something we actually enjoy. The view of the hills near the ghat is a nice bonus when things get stressful. Sometimes the neighbors come by asking for a sample, and we are happy to chat for a bit. It is just us trying to make a decent cup of coffee for everyone. No bells or whistles, just good beans.
