Gordon House Hotel,Pune

This particular office for Gordon House Hotel is actually located at Flat No 19 in the Sai-Savera building, over in Bhosale Nagar, Hadapsar. It’s the residence of Suryakant Shashikant Gaikwad, but we use the space to manage various aspects of the hotel business. It’s not the actual hotel building where the guests stay, so you won't find a lobby or a restaurant here. Instead, it’s where we handle the administrative side of things, like managing bookings, dealing with staff schedules, and keeping track of the accounts. Hadapsar is a busy area, but the Sai-Savera building is a bit more tucked away. Working out of a flat means it’s a very casual environment. We don't wear uniforms here; we just sit at the dining table or a small desk with our laptops and get to work. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of files to go through, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our day on the phone or sending emails back and forth to the main hotel site. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure all the small details are covered so that everything runs smoothly for the guests elsewhere. We don't have any fancy signs outside. We’re just a small team working from a home office, trying to keep the business organized and making sure the bills are paid and the records are kept straight.
