You can find us over at Shivchaya Apartment in Erandwane, which is quite close to the Mhatre Bridge. The address is 60/6, and it is a bit of a mix between a home and an office. We spend our time planning trips and helping people figure out where they want to go for their holidays. It is not like those big travel websites where everything is automated. We actually sit here and talk to people, or spend hours on the phone trying to get a better deal on a hotel or a flight. There are maps pinned to the walls and stacks of brochures that we probably need to clear out one of these days. It gets a bit hectic when it is vacation season, and the phone doesn't seem to stop ringing. We are just a small team, so we all know what the others are working on. If someone is out, someone else picks up their file. It’s a bit informal, but it works for us. We like hearing the stories from people when they come back from their trips, even if they are complaining about the rain or a late train. It makes the job feel a bit more real. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream; we are just trying to get the logistics right so they can actually enjoy their time off. It isn't fancy, but it gets the work done.
