Glamour Holidays Pvt Ltd operates out of Flat No. 13 in the Ujjwal Appts building. It is right there in Hingune Khurd, which is a busy little residential pocket if you know the area well. Being in an apartment means the office feels a bit like a home, which I guess it is for most of us during the long work hours. We have the usual stuff, some desks, a few old computers, and posters of places far away stuck to the walls with tape that is peeling at the edges. It is not a big storefront on a main road where people just wander in. Most people who come to see us at Ujjwal Appts have been told about us by someone else. We spend a lot of time on the phone, listening to what people want for their trips and trying to find the best dates. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it is just the courier or someone from the building. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, especially when the filing cabinets are full of old brochures and forms. The small kitchen area is where we spend a lot of time making coffee and talking about the traffic on the way in. Hingune Khurd can be a bit of a maze if you are not used to the turns. We do not have a big marketing team. It is just us in Flat 13, trying to get the bookings right.
