Gauri Engineering Works

Down at 70/1 Katraj, right in Manoj Market on the Ring Road, you’ll find Gauri Engineering Works. It’s a workshop where there’s always the sound of metal being cut or welded. We’ve got machines that have been with us for years, and they still do the job just fine. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and there’s a smell of grease and iron in the air. It’s a practical space meant for making and fixing things. We don't have a showroom or a fancy office. Most of our day is spent at the benches or working the lathes. People from the local market and surrounding areas bring in parts that need repair or ask us to fabricate something specific. It can get pretty hot in the shop during the summer, but the fans keep the air moving a bit. We’ve been here on the Ring Road for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners around Manoj Market. It’s a busy spot with lots of vehicles passing by. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s a small welding job or something bigger. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where the work happens. We take things as they come and try to finish the projects on time. There’s always some new challenge or a broken part that needs a bit of thinking to fix. We just keep our heads down and get the metal work done.
