Aahana Fashion

You can find Aahana Fashion over at Flat No. 17 in the Sonigara Premia building. It’s located right in the Gaothan area of Nigdi, on Sant Sena Maharaja Marg near 2nd Kumbharwada. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We don't have a massive warehouse to work in; we just use this flat. It gets a bit cramped sometimes with all the fabric rolls, sewing machines, and half-finished projects lying around. We’ve had to get pretty creative with how we store everything so we can still move around the room. We mostly work on local orders and custom fashion pieces for people. It’s a lot of detailed hand-work and sitting at the machines for hours on end. The building is usually full of life, with neighbors coming and going all the time. We often keep the windows open to get a breeze, even if it brings in all the noise and dust from the street. It’s not the most professional-looking setup if you’re used to those big showrooms, but it’s where we do our best work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take some cloth and turn it into something someone actually wants to wear. Sometimes we stay up late to finish a piece for a customer who really needs it the next day. It’s hard work, but we like being our own bosses here in the flat.
