Gandhi General Stores

Gandhi General Stores is tucked away in Gauri Shankar Wadi No2, right over in the Camp Pant Nagar area. It’s at house number 435. It’s the kind of place where we keep a bit of everything because you never know what someone might need. We have the usual stuff like soap, snacks, and things for the kitchen. The shop isn't very big, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. Sometimes you have to ask us to find something because it's tucked behind something else. We open up early in the morning so the people going to work can grab what they need. It’s mostly just us family members running the place. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The street outside can get a bit crowded with kids playing or people walking by. It is a noisy, lively spot. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a plain store for the folks living nearby. If you live in Wadi No2, you probably already know where we are. We try to keep the staples in stock so nobody has to go too far for basic supplies. It’s a lot of work keeping track of the inventory, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a supermarket, just a local general store that helps out. We’ve been here a long time and plan to stay.
