Our place is M-235 in Phase 4 of the MIDC area. If you’ve been to this part of the industrial estate, you know it’s a massive grid of roads and factories. We are tucked away in one of the rows. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a regular workshop inside. We handle beverages, so there’s a lot of liquid moving through pipes and into containers. The sound of the machinery is pretty constant. You get used to it after a while, but it’s loud for someone just walking in from the street. We have a small office at the front where we keep the records and handle the government filings. Phase 4 is a bit of a drive from the main city, so most of us commute in every morning. The road outside can get quite dusty when the big trailers pass by. We don’t have any fancy landscaping, just the building and the gate. It’s a functional space designed for production, not for showing off. We have a loading bay where the finished goods go out. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move stuff without getting everything wet, but we manage. It’s a lot of long hours, especially during the peak seasons when everyone wants more drinks. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
