G P Auto Component

G P Auto Component is out here in Chakankar Industrial Estate 44. We handle a lot of different parts for cars and bikes. The workshop is usually full of grease and the smell of oil, which is pretty standard for what we do here every day. It’s a practical space without any frills. We don’t have much in the way of a front office, so most people just walk straight into the work area to talk to us. We’ve been making components for a long time now. The machines are running most of the day and it can get a bit hot inside the building. It’s just a small team of us working here together. We get orders from local garages and sometimes bigger places too. The estate can be a bit hard to navigate if you aren't familiar with the layout, but we've been at number 44 for years so people find us eventually. It’s a lot of manual work and getting our hands dirty. We check the parts ourselves to make sure they fit right before they leave the shop. Some days are much busier than others depending on what orders come in. We don't really have a website or anything like that to show off. People just call us on the phone or stop by the estate when they need something made. It's a simple operation where we focus on getting the machining and assembly done properly. The lights aren't very bright and the walls could use some paint, but the equipment works well.
