Friendz Coffee Shop

Friendz Coffee Shop is just a small spot in Shankar Nagar where people from the Bosapada area come to hang out. We named it that because most of the people who come in are actually our friends or neighbors. It’s in Kandivali West, which is always moving. We don't have those fancy espresso machines that cost a fortune. We just use a basic setup to make decent coffee and tea. There are some old posters on the wall that have been there since we opened. The chairs don't all match, we just picked them up over time as we needed more seating. It’s a bit of a messy place sometimes, especially when the school kids come in and leave their bags everywhere. I usually work the counter while my friend helps out with the snacks. We make some toast and biscuits to go with the drinks. The ceiling fan makes a clicking noise on high speed, but we’re used to it by now. We don't stay open too late, just until the street starts to get quiet. It’s not a place where you go to be fancy. It’s just somewhere to sit down for twenty minutes and have a chat without anyone bothering you. We keep the sugar in big jars and the spoons are always in a tin on the counter. It’s been our second home for a few years now and we like it that way.
