Our office is located at Flat No. 5 in the Gitanjali Building, which is part of the Ideal Colony in Kothrud. It is a residential area that has slowly seen more businesses moving into the ground and first floors of the older buildings. Being in a flat means it feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We have converted the rooms into workspaces for our team. At Filter-On India Pvt Ltd, we work on filters, which is a very practical business. There is no room for fluff when you are dealing with industrial filtration. The balcony mostly has some old parts and boxes stacked up. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and heat up our lunch boxes. Kothrud is a nice area, and we like being here because it is easy for the staff to commute. The building itself is a bit old, so the lift can be temperamental sometimes, and we often just end up taking the stairs. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone trying to sell a dream. We just provide the filters that our customers ask for. It is a simple, local operation. We know the neighbors, and we know the local shops. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way every day. It is a steady way to live and work without any of the usual office drama you hear about.
