Entertainment Society Of Goa

We are based in Mapusa, which is quite a bit different from the parts of Goa that tourists usually see. It is much more of a local town, and we like it that way. The Entertainment Society of Goa has its spot here, and it’s a place where things are usually moving at a steady pace. Mapusa is busy, especially on market days when the whole town seems to wake up and get crowded with people from the surrounding villages. Our office is just a regular building where we handle the administrative side of things. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, but people around here know where we are. The weather is usually warm, and during the rainy season, the sound on the roof is so loud you can barely hear yourself think. We spend our days planning and talking about events, but the actual work is quite ordinary, just paperwork and phone calls most of the time. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just local people working in the community. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty in the office when the windows are open, but that’s just how it is here. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the shortcuts through the narrow streets to avoid the main traffic. It’s a decent place to work and we don't have to deal with the madness of the beach crowds.
