We are based at S-89 in the MIDC Industrial Area in Bhosari. It’s a massive area, and we’re just one of the many shops making things in this part of Pune. Engineering Specialities Pvt. Ltd. has been around for quite a while now. We’ve seen the industrial estate grow and change, but the core of what we do hasn't altered much. We focus on specialty parts that aren't easy to find or make. The floor is usually busy with the sound of grinding and welding. We have a small group of workers who are really good at what they do, even if they aren't the types to talk much about it. It’s not a place for someone who’s afraid of getting their clothes dirty. There’s oil on the floor and metal dust in the air most of the time. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. We just have a supervisor who knows the machines and the rest of us who get the work done. We get our orders, we look at the specs, and we get to work. Sometimes we hit a snag and have to stay late to figure it out, but that’s just part of the deal. We don't make any big promises; we just try to do a decent job every day. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in Bhosari, and that suits us just fine.
