We operate out of the Oxford Golf and Country Club area in Banner, Pune. Encore Hotels Pvt Ltd is the official name, but we mostly just think of ourselves as the team working near the golf course. It’s a nice area, much quieter than the center of the city, which we appreciate. The air feels a bit fresher out here. Our workspace isn't what you’d expect from a big hotel company. It’s pretty functional and focused on the administrative side of things. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. The walk from the parking area to our spot is actually quite pleasant, especially when the weather is good. Sometimes we see the golfers out on the green while we’re heading in for the morning. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations in the office. It’s mostly just files and computers. We try to keep a steady pace, but things can get a bit frantic when we have a big project going on. The team is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. It’s not the kind of place where people have strict titles. If something needs doing, someone just grabs it. We’ve been in this part of Pune for a while and don’t really see ourselves moving. It’s a good spot for us. We just focus on the work and try to stay organized, even if the desk piles get high sometimes.
