Dowell Auto Components

We are located on Bannerghatta Road, right across from the ICICI Bank. Our workshop is at 46/2 Parvati Chandrappa Nagar. If you’ve ever driven down this road, you know how crazy the traffic gets, especially in the mornings. We deal with auto components, so there’s always a lot of grease and the smell of metal in the air. The shop isn't much to look at from the sidewalk. It’s a functional space with tools scattered around and parts waiting to be shipped out. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the mechanics in the area know us. We don't spend money on advertising or making the front look pretty. We’d rather just focus on getting the parts right. It gets pretty loud with the machines running and the heavy trucks passing by outside. Sometimes we have to shout just to hear each other. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take orders and handle the money. It’s a bit messy, with catalogs and old receipts everywhere. There’s no air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that move the air around. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’ve built a decent life here. We usually close up once it gets dark and the traffic starts to thin out a little bit. It’s just how we do things here.
