Divya Collections is at 37 Near Bank Of Maharashtra. Being by the Old Gidc on Katarg Road in Khadki means there is always something happening outside. We spend a lot of our time just fixing the hangers and making sure everything looks decent. The shop isn't very big so we have to be smart about where we put things. Sometimes the mirrors get smudged and we have to wipe them down again. People walk in after visiting the bank next door just to see what's new. We don't have a lot of help so we do everything ourselves. The racks are usually full and it takes a bit of effort to keep them neat. Khadki can be quite loud in the afternoons with all the motorbikes. We keep the door open to let a breeze in but it brings the street noise too. It's nice to see familiar faces from the neighborhood. We know most of the people who walk past our window every day. The ceiling fan makes a clicking sound but it keeps us cool. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the clothes and us. It's a simple way to spend the day. We try to remember where everything is so we can help people find things quickly. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the rain or the sun on the pavement outside. We have a small blue rug near the entrance that we need to shake out every day.
