Dhapi Tea Company

We are based at Dhapi Tea Company, which is in the Jai Ganesh Vishwa building at S No 38 on Alandi Road in Vishrantwadi. Most of our days start with the sound of traffic outside and the smell of various tea leaves being moved around the room. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle everything. Being at this spot means we see a lot of people passing by all day long. It’s a busy part of Pune. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in if we leave the front door open for too long, but you just get used to that after a while. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through our stock piles. It’s just a small group of us here. We don't have those big glass partitions or expensive coffee machines. We just use a basic electric kettle for ourselves when we want a drink. The building itself is quite easy to recognize in the area once you're on Alandi Road. We've been in this specific spot for a while now. It feels like home even though it's just work. There’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery or a query. We try to keep things organized but when it gets really busy, boxes end up everywhere. It’s just how the tea business goes. You learn to work around the stacks of crates in the corner. It is a simple place where we get the daily work done.
