Devaki Precision

We are located at G/3/89 in the Bhosari industrial area. It is specifically within the Shivadrupa Industrial Premises Cooperative Limited, near the 1st Main and 3rd Stage. Being in Bhosari means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there is always the sound of machinery in the air. At Devaki Precision, we spend most of our hours working with metal and making sure things are cut exactly right. It is a gritty job and our clothes usually have a bit of oil or dust on them by the end of the shift. We have been in this cooperative space for a while now and know most of the neighbors. The space isn't huge but we have packed in the machines we need to get the work done. It can get quite hot in the afternoons under the shed roof, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We aren't the type to talk much about fancy things because the parts we make either fit or they don't, and we make sure they fit. That's just the nature of the work we do. People send us drawings and we try to turn them into real pieces of metal. It is a simple life of measuring, cutting, and checking. Sometimes the supply of material is late, but we find ways to keep moving. Most of our days start early and end when the last machine is wiped down.
