Deshpande Engineering

We run Deshpande Engineering out of a workshop in the AECS Layout in Chinchwad. You can find us at D 21 in the B Block, right on the 1st Main Road. It’s a busy industrial-feeling area with lots of small shops and fabrication units. Our place is full of machines, scrap metal, and the smell of oil. We’ve been here for a good while, and the floor is stained from years of work. We aren't the kind of engineers who sit in air-conditioned offices all day. We are usually out on the shop floor, making sure the parts are coming out right. We take on all sorts of mechanical and structural jobs. Sometimes it’s a small repair for a neighbor, and other times it’s a bigger batch of parts for a local factory. My father started this place, and I’ve been running it for the last decade or so. We don't have a glossy brochure or a sales team. If you want to know what we do, you just come by and see the work bench. The noise from the 1st Main Road can be quite loud, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get things done on time. It’s a simple life, but it’s what we know. There’s always something that needs fixing or making, so we stay pretty occupied from Monday to Saturday every week.
