Our engineering shop is located at Plot 36 in the D-II Block of M.I.D.C., Chinchwad. We are quite close to the Pnachseel Hotel, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. We’ve been operating out of this area for a good while. The space is mostly filled with lathes, milling machines, and stacks of raw material. It’s an engineering place, so things are usually precise but the floor is definitely used. Dali and Samir started this to handle local manufacturing needs. We have a small group of technicians who really know their way around a blueprint. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people in the M.I.D.C. who know what we can do. It’s a lot of asking if we can make a specific part or fix an assembly. We say yes if we can, and we’re honest if we can't. The noise of the machines is the background music to our days. We usually have lunch together in the small break area. It’s not fancy, but we get the job done. Chinchwad is a busy industrial hub, and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops here. We focus on the work at hand and don't worry too much about the rest. It’s a steady life and we try to keep the machines running smooth all week long.
