Cummins

The Cummins office is located at S.No 249, right near the Kothrud Bus Stand and the Shivaji Putala in Kothrud, Pune. It is a very busy spot because of the bus stand nearby, so there is a constant flow of people and vehicles outside our doors. You can always hear the sound of the buses pulling in and out throughout the day. The Shivaji statue is a major landmark, so it makes it easy for people to find where we are. Our workspace is pretty functional. We have a lot of desks squeezed into the rooms and there is always something going on. It can get a bit loud during the peak hours, but we have gotten used to it over the time we have been here. The floors are made of simple tiles that we try to keep clean, but the dust from the road always finds its way in. We don't have a fancy break room, so we usually just eat our tiffin at our desks or go to one of the small snack shops around the bus stand. It is an honest place to work. We have some heavy equipment and parts stored in the back area which makes the whole place smell a bit like oil and metal. We just focus on getting our daily tasks done in the middle of all the Kothrud hustle.
