Cummins

Our setup for Cummins here is in Flat Number 9 at Paud Pahata. It’s a small office, essentially a converted residential space, which is quite common in this part of Pune. Being at the Paud Pahata junction means we are right in the thick of the traffic and the noise of the city. The office itself is quite tight, with desks squeezed into the rooms and piles of paperwork on almost every flat surface. It’s not a place meant for hosting big events or anything like that. It’s just where we come to handle the administrative and technical side of our work. You have to walk up the common stairs of the building to find us, and it feels very much like a local neighborhood office. We don't have a fancy lobby, just a door with a small sign. Most of the time, the air conditioner is humming and we are busy responding to requests or checking on project statuses. The kitchen area of the flat has been turned into a spot for the water cooler and a small stove for making tea. It’s a very humble way to operate, but it works for what we do. We don't worry much about being a "corporate" office; we just focus on the engineering and support tasks that are on our plate for the day. It’s a simple, functional workplace for a small, dedicated team.
