Creative Engineers

Our office is over at A11 in Poonam Plaza, right in the Karve Nagar area of Pune. It’s a busy building with a lot of different businesses, but we’ve been in this corner for a bit. We do engineering work, which mostly involves sitting at desks with a lot of drawings and technical papers spread out. It’s not the quietest place because of the street noise outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink a lot of tea while going over plans and checking measurements. Sometimes we have to head out to sites to see how things are actually being built, but a lot of the heavy lifting happens right here on our computers. The furniture is a bit old, and the files are stacked pretty high in the cabinets. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit waiting at the door. It’s just us doing calculations and making sure the details are right. We know the other shop owners in the plaza, so there’s always someone to chat with during a break. Pune is a big city, but Karve Nagar feels like its own little world. We just focus on the projects we have on our plate and try to get the work done without too much fuss. It is practical work for people who need things designed properly without any of the extra fluff. We stay until the work is finished, however long that takes.
