Our office for Cqm-Raj Enviro (India) Pvt. Ltd. is over in the Jai Ganesh Vision building in Akurdi. We are up on the third floor in the B Wing. It’s a bit different from the usual industrial sheds since we are in a proper commercial building. Jai Ganesh Fame is right there too, so it’s a well-known spot in this part of town. The office is a bit small, but it’s got enough room for our desks and the technical manuals we keep on the shelves. Being on the third floor, we get a bit of a view of the surrounding Akurdi area, though it’s mostly just roofs and other buildings. It’s a lot quieter up here than it is down on the street level. We spend most of our time dealing with environmental engineering details and paperwork. It’s not the most exciting work to look at, but it’s important. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic, so it’s usually just us and the humming of the air conditioner. We usually grab lunch from the places downstairs or bring something from home. It’s a decent place to work, even if the elevators are slow sometimes. We’ve been in this building for a bit now and it feels like home. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team trying to do our jobs properly every day.
