We are Himachal Environmental Engineering and we set up shop on Paud Road in the Kothrud area of Pune. It’s a pretty active part of the city, so there is always something happening outside our doors. Our work is mainly focused on environmental engineering stuff. It sounds like a big title, but mostly it involves a lot of technical planning and looking at how projects affect the land and water around here. We have a small team and we spend a lot of time at our desks or out at different sites around Maharashtra. The office on Paud Road is where we do all the heavy thinking and paperwork. It isn't a flashy place, just a workspace with some computers and old files stacked up. Pune is a good city for this kind of work because people are starting to care more about the environment lately. We just take one project at a time and try to get the engineering right. Sometimes the deadlines are a bit tight and the coffee runs out, but we stay until the job is done. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sound more important than we are. We are just engineers trying to solve problems in a way that makes sense. It’s a lot of math and local regulations, but it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on the technical details and making sure the reports are accurate for the clients.
