Fenix Process Technologies is tucked away at K-6/1 'Malini'. It’s near Mangeshkar Hospital and right across from Sevasadan School. The school kids are definitely the loudest part of the day, especially when the bell rings and they all pour out into the street. Our office space in the 'Malini' building is decent enough, though the parking situation is a bit of a nightmare if you arrive after nine in the morning. Inside, we do engineering work, mostly focusing on process stuff for various factories and plants. This involves a lot of sitting at desks and looking at technical diagrams on big monitors. The air conditioning works most of the time, but the back room gets a bit stuffy during the hotter afternoons. A small pantry holds our coffee machine, which is probably the most used thing in the whole place. This isn't some corporate skyscraper; it just feels like a regular house that someone turned into an office. Files are piled up in the corners and the printer jams once a week like clockwork. With the hospital nearby, ambulances are always going past with their sirens on. You get used to that noise after a while. We aren't trying to change the world; we just take the projects as they come and try to get the math right. It’s a steady pace of work with some occasional late nights when a deadline is breathing down our necks. We just keep our heads down and get it finished.
