If you're in Hyderabad, you know how busy Kukatpally can get. Our office for Cotmac Electronics is tucked away in Sumitranagar, specifically at H. No: 3-5-52/1. It's a bit of a relief to be in this neighborhood because it’s slightly away from the main road noise, though you can still hear the city moving all around you. We’ve been operating from this house-turned-office for a while now. It feels more like a home than a sterile business environment. We have our routines, like sharing snacks in the afternoon and catching up on the local news. The work we do involves a lot of technical details and electronics, but we try to keep the atmosphere light. We don’t have a boss who demands polished reports every hour; we just know what we have to do and we get on with it. The building is an older style, which we actually like because it stays a bit cooler during those hot Hyderabad afternoons. Most of us have been with the company long enough that we don’t need to be told what our roles are. We just show up, check the schedule, and start working. It’s a very practical way to run things. We’re not trying to impress anyone with big speeches or fancy logos. We’re just local people working in Kukatpally, trying to do a good job every day and then heading home to our families.
