Semikron Electronics

Over at Sangavi Ganabharathi Post, near Mariyappalnapaly, you’ll find Semikron Electronics. We aren't the kind of shop that sells TVs or big refrigerators. Instead, we have drawers and boxes full of small components like capacitors, resistors, and circuit boards. It’s a quiet place because the work requires a lot of concentration. People who come here are usually looking for a specific part to fix an old machine or for some project they are building. The building itself is older and doesn't have much signage. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or checking item numbers on our old computer. Mariyappalnapaly is a bit out of the way for some, but for the people who need these specific parts, they know where to find us. The air inside always smells a bit like solder and old paper. We don't really do customer service in the way big stores do; we just help you find the right piece of hardware so you can go back to your work. Sometimes it’s hard to keep everything in stock because supply chains are a mess, but we try our best. The lights flicker a bit when the heavy machinery next door starts up, but we’re used to it. It’s a niche business and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. It’s not flashy, just a place for electronics. We don't have a storefront window with bright displays, just a door and our workbench.
