Abacus Electronics

We operate out of an apartment in Kanchanban, specifically A-3, 404. This is in Shivthirt Nagar on Paud Road in Pune. It is not a typical shop with a sign on the street. It is a home-based setup where we handle electronics work. Parag Borkar runs the place, and we have one room dedicated to all our gear. There are soldering stations, multimeters, and piles of circuit boards all over the tables. It is a bit of a mess to an outsider, but it is how we work best. Since we are in a residential building, it is usually quiet, except for the occasional sound of a neighbor’s television or kids playing in the hallway. We handle various electronic repairs and projects right here. It is a very hands-on environment. Sometimes people find it a bit tricky to find the right flat number the first time they come over. We have been at this address for several years and have built a small, steady group of people who know us. We do not have a fancy reception area; you basically just walk into our workspace. There are wires hanging from shelves and boxes of components stacked in the corners. It is a very practical, no-nonsense way of doing things. We just stay focused on the technical side of the business and get the repairs done.
