Concur Architects & Interior Designers

Our place is Flat No. 4 in Seema Apt, over in Shivajinagar. We’ve been here at Concur Architects & Interior Designers for a good while. It’s a small office but it works for us. Shivajinagar is a busy part of Pune, so there is always something going on right outside our window. We do a mix of things here, from the actual architecture of a building to the inside bits like furniture and lighting. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything. We spend a lot of time looking at samples of tiles, wood, and paint. Sometimes the office feels more like a storage room for materials. We aren't really the type to wear suits or give big speeches. Usually, we are just in jeans and shirts, trying to solve some problem with a floor plan. People come in with all sorts of ideas, and we have to tell them what’s actually possible. Sometimes their budget doesn't match their dreams, so we have to find a middle ground. It’s a lot of talking and sketching on whatever paper is nearby. We don't have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. From taking measurements on-site to filing papers, we just handle it. It's a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. We’re just a local team trying to make spaces work better for the people living in them. It is rewarding work for us.
