Cold Coffee House

Cold Coffee House is right on Yeswant Collage Road in Baba Nagar. Being near the college means there are always students walking past. It can get pretty loud during the breaks. The street outside has seen better days but it’s got character. We’ve been here in Baba Nagar for a while and we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. The shop itself is simple. We have chairs that have been sat in by thousands of people. Some days the sun hits the front window just right and it gets quite warm inside. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People just know where we are. It’s a local spot. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors because of all the foot traffic from the road. It’s dusty work. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic go by when it’s slow. It’s never slow for long though. The college schedule basically runs our lives. When they have exams, it’s quiet. When they graduate, it’s a mess. We just handle it as it comes. It’s just us here, making sure things are ready for the next rush. It’s a basic place with basic things. No need to make it more complicated than it is. Just a shop on the corner of the road. We stay open late enough for the evening crowd and then we head home to do it all again tomorrow. It’s just the way it goes here in this neighborhood.
