Coffee N Me

Started this place near Khondhwa Punyaie Nagar because it felt right. Pune Satara Road is always loud and busy with cars and bikes going past all day. We open up early when it’s still a bit quiet outside and the air is fresh. Most days, I’m just here making sure the seats are straight and the floor is clean. It’s not a fancy place, just a corner where people can sit and talk. Sometimes the machine acts up or the milk delivery is late, but we manage somehow. People stop by on their way to work or just to get out of the sun for a bit. There’s a lot of dust from the road so we spend half our time wiping things down. I remember when we first got the keys, the walls were a mess. We did most of the painting ourselves over a long weekend. It took forever to dry because it was monsoon season. Now, it feels like a regular part of the street. It’s funny how you get used to the noise of the traffic after a while. I know most of the regulars by what they drink rather than their names. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping things moving. We don't have a big team or anything. Just trying to stay open and keep the coffee hot. Sometimes we run out of snacks by afternoon if it’s been a busy morning. That's just how it goes here every day.
