We are situated over in Viman Nagar, right by the Kadia Kui Naka. It’s a busy little corner of Bag Bazar. Most of the time, the kitchen is a blur of steam and people shouting orders. We do a lot of takeaway because people around here are always in a rush to get home or back to the office. The woks are going from lunch until late at night. We don't have much of a dining area, just a few tables that usually stay full. I spend my time making sure the vegetables are chopped and the rice is ready. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it feels good when the food goes out hot. The traffic outside is always noisy, so we usually have a fan going to keep the air moving. We aren't doing anything fancy or complicated. It’s just the kind of food people want when they are hungry and tired. Sometimes the delivery guys are all waiting at once and it gets a bit crowded near the door. We just try to get the bags out as fast as we can. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know what the locals like to eat. It’s a simple operation and we just try to stay consistent with the flavors. It's just a regular neighborhood spot for a quick meal without any drama.
