We’ve been here at Phursungi 145/2 for a good while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workshop where we get things done. Chariot Components is what it says on the sign outside, though the paint is peeling a bit from the sun. Phursungi can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the big fans running all day long. Most of the time, we’re just busy with the machines, making sure the parts are cut right and sent out on time. It’s a lot of metal and noise, but you get used to it after a week or two. The road out front gets really busy with those big lorries, and sometimes the dust just settles on everything. We spend a lot of our mornings just sweeping up. People around here know where we are, right near the 145/2 marker. It’s a practical kind of job. We don’t have any big corporate meetings or anything like that. We just talk over tea in the break area and figure out what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. Usually, it is just us on the floor. If you ever come by, don’t expect a lobby. Just walk past the gate and you’ll find us. It’s just an honest way to make a living in this part of town, keeping the machines going and making sure the orders are ready by the time the truck arrives in the evening.
