Challenge Auto Tech Pvt Ltd is located at 169-170 on Chikhlee Dr D Silva Road. We are in a spot that’s usually quite busy with vehicles and local traffic. The workshop has a lot of tools and parts lying around because that’s the nature of auto work. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny and polished. There is grease on the floor and the smell of engines in the air. We spend most of our time under hoods or looking at machines. The space at 169-170 is big enough for what we do, but it feels cramped when we have a lot of jobs lined up at once. Dr D Silva Road is a familiar place for many around here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done. We don’t spend much on making the place look pretty for visitors. We’d rather have the right tools in our hands. Sometimes customers come in with problems we have to figure out on the fly. It's a hands-on kind of life for us. We get used to the noise of the street and the sound of wrenches hitting the floor. It’s a simple business. We open the shutters in the morning and close them when the work is done. It's a lot of manual work and problem solving. That's just the way it goes at our place on Chikhlee.
