Chai The Way You Like It

Chai The Way You Like It is located in Khondhwa, specifically in Shop No 2 of the Supreme Classic Building. It is a small corner of the building but we make it work. Most of the day is spent boiling water and milk for the tea. We use a lot of ginger and tea leaves that we buy from the local market nearby. The shop is not very big, so most people just stand outside on the pavement or sit on the few stools we have placed near the entrance. Khondhwa is always crowded and there are always people walking past the Supreme Classic Building. We see students, workers, and people just out for a walk. The tea is made in a big pot and we keep it hot all day long. Sometimes we run out of gas and have to wait for the new cylinder to arrive. It is just one of those things that happens. The walls have a few simple shelves for the cups and the sugar jars. We spend a lot of time washing the glass cups in a bucket of water. It is a simple business. My friend helps me out in the mornings when it is really busy. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the regular tea and maybe some biscuits. We stay open until the last of the evening crowd goes home. It is a good spot for people to just stop for a few minutes and chat.
