Carbide Tip Tools

Our shop is Carbide Tip Tools, located at No. 418 in Ganesh Peth. We are at Shop No. 2/3, right near the Gurudwara. You can’t miss the sound of the prayers in the morning. It’s a small space, but we pack a lot into it. We mostly deal with industrial tools, the kind of things that need to be tough. The shelves are heavy with metal parts. It smells like machine oil and cold steel in here. We spend a lot of time checking the edges of the tips we sell. It’s precise work even if the shop looks a bit cluttered. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the trade. Most of our customers are local craftsmen or guys from the nearby workshops who need something specific. We don't do much marketing; people just find us because we’ve been here for years. The Gurudwara next door is a good landmark. Sometimes when it’s busy on the street, it’s hard to park, but people manage. We have a small desk where we write out the bills by hand. It’s not a high-tech operation. We just try to be honest about what we have and what it can do. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s when we take a breather. It’s a steady life in Ganesh Peth and we've grown to like the rhythm of this busy little corner.
