Call Center

We are set up in Nanawati Nagar over in Pune, specifically in room number 312/A. It’s part of the Srp F Group 1st area. The room itself is a bit small for the number of people we have sometimes, but we make it work by keeping things as organized as we can. You can hear the hum of the fans and the constant sound of voices because, well, it’s a call center. Everyone has their own little station with a headset and a monitor that flickers a bit if you don't tap the side of it. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s pretty quiet outside compared to the buzz inside our room. We take turns going down for breaks because the hallway isn't big enough for everyone to stand at once. Pune weather is usually nice, so we keep the windows open when it isn't too dusty or windy outside. We’ve been in this specific spot for a while now, and the neighbors don't mind the noise much since we keep the doors shut during the late shifts. It’s a lot of repetitive work, answering the same kinds of questions over and over, but we have a good group of people here who make the time go by faster. We usually bring our own tiffins from home and eat together at the big wooden table in the corner. It isn't a shiny office building like the ones you see in the IT parks, but it’s our space.
