We are tucked away in Model Colony at 5/B/3. It is a bit of a quiet corner compared to the main roads, which we like. The cafe isn't very big, just a few tables and some chairs that we’ve moved around a hundred times to make more space. We started this because we wanted a place to work that wasn't a big corporate office. Most days, it’s just us and the sound of the grinder making noise. We get a lot of students and people who live in the colony stopping by for a quick drink or to sit with their books for an hour. The walls have some marks on them and the menu is just printed on plain paper, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time cleaning the milk steamer and wiping down the counters. It’s a lot of repetitive work, really. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the evening because we don't stock a huge amount of stuff in the back. We just buy what we need for the day. It gets a little cramped when more than ten people are inside, but that creates a nice hum of conversation. We don't have any big signs or loud music. It’s just a small shop in a nice part of town. If you’re walking through Model Colony, you’ll probably see us there behind the counter doing our daily chores.
