Cafe Solo Baila

We have been over here on Fergusson College Road for a bit now. If you know Ajit Nagar, specifically house 202, that is where you will find Cafe Solo Baila. It is mostly just us doing our thing every day. People come in, some stay for a while, others just pass through. It gets busy on the weekends since the college is right there, but we try to keep things moving. We didn't really have a big plan when we started, we just liked the idea of having a spot where music and coffee sort of go together. It is not some fancy franchise or anything like that. The floors might creak a little and the chairs aren't all matching, but it works for us. Most mornings start with just setting things up and making sure the music isn't too loud for the neighbors. We spend a lot of time just talking to the folks who live around here. It’s a small space, so you end up knowing everyone's name pretty quick. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when a lot of people show up at once to dance or just hang out, but that is just how it goes. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy uniforms. Just shirts and jeans usually. If you are walking down FC Road and see our sign, that is us. Nothing too complicated, just a local spot in a busy part of town.
