Cafe Old Skool is sitting over in Aundh at the Amikunj Cross Road, specifically C/I/127/2. We set this place up because we wanted a spot to hang out and serve coffee. The chairs don't all match and the tables are a bit worn out, but that is how we like it. We spend our mornings grinding beans and setting up the shop. The cross road gets quite busy with people going to work or school. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, so it’s good for people-watching. The menu is just written on a board and we change it whenever we feel like it. It’s not a big corporate chain, just us behind the counter making drinks and talking to whoever walks in. Sometimes the milk steamer gets a bit loud, and the door has a squeak we haven't fixed yet. We have some old posters on the walls and a few books sitting around for people to read. The Aundh area has changed a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We stay open until late evening, and the lighting gets a bit dim and cozy once the sun goes down. Most of our regulars live just a few blocks away. It is just a simple cafe where we do our thing and hope the coffee tastes good.
