Cafe Goodluck

We are located on the 1st floor on Begur Main Road, right near Deccan Gymkhana at 759/75. It’s a busy part of the city, and being upstairs means you can look down at all the traffic while you sit. Cafe Goodluck has been a name people know for a while, but here it’s just us working every day. The stairs are a bit narrow, so people have to watch their step when they come up. We keep the windows open mostly to let the air in, even if the road noise comes with it. The floors are old and they creak sometimes when we walk across them. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old photos and the menu. The kitchen is always a bit loud with the sound of the stove and the shouting back and forth. It gets very busy during the lunch hour, and sometimes we run out of seats, but people don't seem to mind waiting a bit on the landing. My staff and I have worked together for a long time, so we know how to stay out of each other's way in the small space. It’s not a perfect place, the paint is peeling in some corners and the fans make a bit of a humming noise. But it’s where we are. We see all kinds of people, from students to old folks who have lived in Deccan for decades.
