Cafe Durga

Cafe Durga is located on Law College Road, specifically at Nehrunagar Extension, B B Road 124/1. It’s a small place where people come mostly for coffee and a few quick bites while they talk. We have some stools and a couple of tables, but many people just stand outside and talk while they drink their coffee. It gets especially busy when the students from the nearby colleges are out on break. The atmosphere is loud and there is always something going on with the young crowd. We make the coffee in big batches because it goes so fast during the peak hours. Sometimes the line gets a bit long and spills out onto the sidewalk near the road. We try to work as fast as we can, but there are only so many hands to pour the drinks and such. The walls have some old posters on them and the floor is a bit worn down from all the walking people do. We don't have a menu with a hundred things on it, just the stuff we are good at making day after day. The noise from the road is always there, but you get used to it after an hour of sitting here. We aren't trying to be a fancy cafe with soft music or expensive chairs. It’s just a place to get a drink and move on with your day. We’ve been at 124/1 for a bit and we like the energy.
